Lusting for Fat: Gainers Come Out of the Closet

As Fat Acceptance Voices Grow Louder, Blogs Celebrate Putting on the Pounds

He goes by the name “Git,” a 22-year-old man from Kentucky who is on a quest: to weigh as much as he possibly can.
The photos of him as a skinny 18-year-old college student are startlingly different than the love-handled, 245-pound man that he has become.
“Lately I’ve been infatuated with the physics of my belly,” he writes on his blog, Gitbigger. “I’m starting to notice how it moves with me, how it gets in the way, and it makes me daydream about how it will feel when I’m bigger.”
“The more attention I pay to it, the easier it becomes to imagine sizes like 300, 400. I like to think I don’t romanticize it, but I can’t help lusting over those sizes.”
Those who are obsessed with gaining weight are known as “gainers,” a once-underground proclivity that is squeezing its way out of the closet as the voices for fat acceptance grow louder.
Sometimes, the practice is sexual – so-called “feederism” — when the gainer is aided by a “feeder” who takes on more and more control as the gainer becomes physically incapacitated.
They seek each other out online with acronyms like BBW (Big Beautiful Woman); SSBHM (Super Sized Big Handsome Man) and FFA (Female Fat Admirer).
An array of online blogs like Feeder Fantasy, Dimensions Magazine and Feed or Get Out extol the virtues of getting bigger.
“The days of justifying our fatness by lying and saying we have a mysterious genetic or metabolic disorder are over,” says the Bigger Fatter Blog. “We now freely admit to and embrace what the fat haters would call gluttony. We are fat because we eat huge amounts of food and we like it.”

One fat acceptance blogger wrote: “I’m tired of all of us being treated like circus side shows.”
AnnMarie, who runs a BBW web site told ABCNews.com she is not a gainer, but defends the privacy of a plus-size world.
“We’re just large people trying to navigate a world that is not built for us, in social lives that are set up to belittle and degrade us, and we try to maintain happiness, dignity, love, jobs, families,” she wrote. “We’re only different because we aren’t apologizing for who we are. We’re only different because others want to keep making us feel that way.”
The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance also condemns the practice of so called “feederism,” because it coerces a person to become larger.
In a special report, the celebrity magazine In Touch Weekly looks at what it calls Hollywood’s “big new obsession” and the perks of being overweight: “fame and fortune.”

As the Dean of Feederism I most strongly disagree with the assertion that one cannot maintain any body weight they desire. There will be no pseudo science here. What I would like to convey is that obesity IS a choice and I think it is a good choice.

Your body constantly generates energy, which it needs to power all the systems of your body, heart, muscles, brain, nervous system, etc. After that energy is used to do the many processes, it ALL then gets later given off as heat, in several different ways. Some gets lost by your skin radiating and convecting heat away. More heat is carried away by your warm breath. Your perspiration evaporates from your skin, which gives off additional heat. These things ALWAYS happens!

On average, the total food energy content that you eat/drink is the same as the total energy that your body needs for all of its operations and it is also equal to the total energy that your body gives off after it is done using it. This is called that BMR Basal Metabolism Rate, and for adult men, it is around 2,200 Calories per day. For women a little less. For people of different body types, a little more or less.

During the daytime, you are more active, and so more processes occur inside you, so more energy needs to be processed and then discarded, and so your skin temperature is slightly higher than when sleeping. While you are sleeping, everything slows down BUT DOES NOT STOP!

Consider that this whole sequence can be affected by any of the three stages. (1) You could eat more or less food; (2) you could do a lot more work or exercise to get your body processes to convert more food/fat into energy; or (3) you might alter the ability of your body to dispose of the excess heat, and also to breathe out more breaths of carbon dioxide. Your body has the capability of adjusting its activity due to differences in any or all of these three areas. Specifically, in a really hot environment, your body can shut down many systems to reduce the energy that needs to be generated, down to a low of around 20 Calories per hour (research data from Frederick C. Hatfield, of ISSA), in order to try to avoid overheating.

We are going to consider the situation for the eight hours each night that we sleep. In a relatively cool room environment, your sleeping BMR (Basal Metabolism Rate) only drops a little from the daytime 100 Calories per hour, down to around 80 Calories per hour. Your body has many processes that it still needs to do, like digestion, operation of the heart, lungs and other organs, thinking as during dreams, etc, which is why the 80 Calories per hour is very common. Your rate of breathing slows some during this form of sleep, but not too much, so it still rids the body of a lot of carbon dioxide each hour.

Now that the “I can’t be slender myth” is busted I would like for fat folks to embrace their fat, hedonistic and gormandizing ways and rid themselves of the guilt and the apologetics that has kept the FA movement stagnant for so long.

In spite of what the mean, jealous and angry girls in the old FA movement would like you to believe gaining and maintaining is all about calories in vs calories out. If you want to get fat you simply have to eat more food high in calories. If you want to lose weight you simply need to eat less calories. If you want to maintain you need to eat the correct about of calories.

1. Eat a lot but don’t eat often. While this may sound counter intuitive, it isn’t. Eating actually increases your metabolic rate and it keeps you from being ravenously hungry.

2. Don’t move anymore that you absolutely must. Moving burns precious calories.

3. While you cannot avoid all fruits and vegetable remember that fiber takes up space and it take a lot of energy to digest. If you get constipated have your feeder give you a laxative or an enema. Enemas are fun.

4 If I have said it once I have said it 10000000 times – FAT FATTENS BEST! Fat contains a whooping 9 calories per gram whereas carbohydrates and proteins contain a paltry 4 calories per gram.

5. Sleep a with a blanket or at least a sheet over you. Your giant body surface loses massive amounts of of heat. Heat = Calories!

6. Use your diabetes! Take a little extra insulin to spike your appetite.

7. Look for fast food bargains and specials.

8. Replace your half & half with cream.

9. Watch the Food Network of Fatspiration.

10. Find a good food delivery service.

I wrote the above song to celebrate the myriad of body shapes. I will leave the scientific stuff to our friend, and somatype expert and social commentator, artist, philosopher, gainer, bariatric nutritionist and fat studies professor “Dr” Gerald “Teddy” Bear. This song is for all the fat people that the NAAFA style fat acceptance rejects. Back in the days when I was porking fat girls, I figured the fatter the better. Sadly NAAFA never saw it that way. They kept up their fat and fit propaganda.

Gluttony is a choice and true fat acceptance will acknowledge that reality and encourage gaining, feederism and power eating while at the same time respecting a fatling’s choice to go on a weight loss diet. NAAFA has been on a slippery slope due to its hypocrisy. While we at Bigger Fatter Blog are against most forms of weight loss surgery we would not shun anyone who was dumb enough to pay some greedy doctor to butcher them. People get conned sometimes. It goes with being human but the biggest con job was when NAAFA went from the National Association Aiding Fat Americans to the National Association Advancing Fat Acceptance. They turned founder Bill Fabrey’s dream into a nightmare of an organization.

Fat people already accept being fat because if they didn’t they would all look like me and my fiance Thinnette. Fat people are accepted and they are not looking for acceptance. They are looking for accommodation. If NAAFA would return to its roots and AID fat people instead of exploiting them and turning them into victims the FA movement would have taken hold but after 40 years it has fizzled and now it twists in the wind. The few NAAFans left are like the tea baggers. They are rebels with out a cause or a clue.

For her to maintain 120 pounds she needs to take in 1700 calories per day. If she exercises, her caloric requirement will be higher. It’s a fact, it would take 29 of these bad boys to equal the 6800 calories a 480+ pound BBW requires to maintain her massive mounds of marvelous fat. It would cost you wallet busting 87 dollars a day to feed your fatling if you fed her Subway 6 grams of fat or less subs. The other problem are all the damn veggies. They simply take up space in the stomach and some veggies like lettuce, spinach and peppers are calorie negative. That means it requires more calories to digest than what will get into the body and be stored as fat. Kinda self defeating huh?

One measly stick of butter contains 780 calories It would take 3.5 subway subs or 21 inches of submarine sandwich to equal one stick of butter. The cost per calorie is far cheaper if you go with butter. Look what all that butter has done for Paula Deen the Butter Queen and her fat boy husband.

Veggies require a lot of chewing. You’ll wear your teeth out! By the time your gainer eats one Subway sub she can easily devour 4 sticks of butter which is a whopping 3120 calories that will slide right down her pretty gullet. Once again, proof positive that fat fattens best! Dr Atkins should have been a feeder and not a weight loss guru. In fact we salute Dr Atkins for making people fatter than ever before. His “diet” is the perfect prescription for gaining.

Fatkins didn’t know much but he understood what gluttons love and that is the savory taste of fat. He also know that a gram of carbs contains 4 calories but a gram of fat contains 9 calories. WOW! He may have known, although he was a greedy charlatan and dumb fuck like most MDs that carb deprivation causes two things that will cause weight gain.

1. Carb deprivation causes intense hunger.

2. Low carb diets cause muscle loss and that slows the basal metabolic rate.

How do these to factors benefit that gainer? I think that is quite obvious. Hungry people eat more than one who are sated. A slower metabolic rate require less feeding. It won’t be much slower but every savings of calories helps to fatten.

The Dos and Don’ts of Gaining

Do hang around with other fat people. They are a great support group. They also know where the best food deals are.

Don’t hang around with slender people. They avoid eating fattening foods.

Do wear loose fitting clothes to avoid that “full feeling” after you eat.

Don’t eat too much fiber but you will need some. Constipation can kill your appetite. You always feel hungry after you’ve dropped a duke.

Do watch the Food Network. Seeing food makes you hungry.

Don’t eat at a dining room or kitchen table. Eat in front of the TV. Mindful eating is what people like MeMe Roth do. You want your eating to be as involuntary as your breathing when you are on your CPAP machine.

Don’t move too much. Even if you feel you can walk don’t! walking burns calories. Use your scooter or power chair!

Don’t take the stairs even if you can. If the Belly God had intended fat people to use the stairs he would not have invented the elevator.

Do substitute half and half or heavy cream for milk and add chocolate syrup.

The low carb food pyramid is good but there is too much meat. It will fatten but the amount of protein will damage your kidneys. Simply revere the fat for the meat.

There will be no complicated or time consuming recipes featured here. This is not Malto Mario, Ina Garten or Iron Chef. This is real cooking for real gluttons and those people who like to feed them.

Sweet and Savory Meatball Delight

This is a sweet and savory holiday favorite that is so tasty it will make you want to slap Kate Harding. Well, we all want to slap that nasty dog faced bitch.

Ingredients:

Precooked frozen Sam’s Club Meatballs. (I buy the six pound bag)
4 – 12 oz bottles of Heinz Chili Sauce (Don’t use a substitute)
2 – 12 oz jar of grape jelly (I prefer Welch’s but if you have a favorite brand use that)

Pour the chili sauce and and the jelly into a Crock Pot of other slow cooker and then at frozen meatballs. Make sure the are all covered. Usually about half the bag. Place the lid on the Crock Pot and turn it on hi for an hour then turn it to low. This is not critical

Note. The longer they cook the better they will taste.

Serve in a bowl or fill a hoagie roll. Eat and enjoy.

Calories per serving 1200.

The next recipe is one Proud FA calls Bar Cookie Decadence Lasagna. Cookies can be very time consuming with steps like measuring and mixing the ingredients, greasing the cookie sheets cookie sheets, spooning the cookie dough onto the sheets, putting them on the sheets, checking them to see if they are done and then taking them of the sheets. Who wants to do all that? We want to Eat!

A Variation on the Theme “Cock Tale” Wiener Deluxe

Once they’ve had you sweet and savory balls it time to introduce them to your hot hot and spicy wiener action.

4 – pounds smoked cocktail wieners

24 – ounce apple jelly

24 – ounce Guldens Spicy Brown mustard

Place all ingredients into a super sized Crock Pot https://i2.wp.com/z.about.com/d/inventors/1/G/N/U/RT.GIF and simmer for 1 hour. Serve warm.

Serves 4 BBWs or 2 SSBBW’s

Bar Cookie Decadence
Lasagna

Ingredients:

8 – Tubes of cookie dough. Mix and match and be creative.

4 – Bags Giradelli chocolate chips

4 – Bags butterscotch chips

2 – Sticks of butter softened

8 – Cups of red and green M&Ms

Preheat oven to 350

Smear four cookie sheets with one stick of butter.

Using your hands spread a tube of cookie dough into each cookie sheet an sprinkle a thick layer chocolate chips and or the butterscotch chips on the first layer then smooth on another tube of cookie dough over the first layer.

Cover the tops with 2 cups of M&Ms each and back for 20 – 25 minutes. Do not over bake! Let cool.

EAT!

They say that candy is dandy but liquor is quicker. BBW’s love Bailey’s Irish Cream but they will swoon when the get a taste of Chocolate Eggnog Seduction.

1/2 Gallon Eggnog (Cold)

1 – Quart heavy cream (Cold

2 Cans Hershey’s Genuine Chocolate Syrup

1 – Quart Creme de cacao

1 – Pint Spiced Rum)

1 – Pint Brandy

Yeah, that’s right, I’m a pig. Marylyn Wann would say, “Fat? So what?” I’m a proud Fatso! Now to more positive things.

It was good, there was a lot of it, and I ATE IT ALL.
Thanksgiving Dinner. Ahhh!!! I could eat turkey every day of the week. And I could eat a lot of it and ALL of the trimmings. And I don’t feel an ounce of guilt or shame over it. But people have said some terrible things to me about my shape and size. What do they want…”I’m a pig” I tell them. It’s as if they have no compassion or empathy at all. One even suggested stomach stapling. STOMACH STAPLING? “I’m a gluttonous pig! And I ‘want’ to eat a lot. Why would I want my stomach stapled?” I may not be the brightest pig in the stie, but wouldn’t that make my stomach smaller? I want it enlarged, not shrunk.

I love to eat and I’m comfortable in my own body most of the time and when I am not I simple eat something really yummy. The sanctimonious crowd may not be comfortable with eating this much, but I say, “Good! More for me. Now get out of the way before I staple your mouth shut.”

“Just pass the turkey.”

“That stuffing doesn’t have bacon in it, does it? Then again, don’t tell me.”

I Fat Bastard will not give up my gluttonous ways but unlike other fatlings I will not even go through the motions of pretending to diet just to please the sanctimonious fat haters. They can play all the fat hate bingo they want. I prefer playing the knife, fork and spoon.

I am back and I am once again large and in charge. This is only my second heart attack. They have me on a new cholesterol drug called Trilipix along with my other meds. Right now my blood sugar is out of control. I think it was that box of Famous Amos cookies that made that happen. Someday there will come a day when we can gluttonize without the possible health risks but until that day we must accept the risk and the benefits of being gluttons. I along with the vast majority of Americans think the benefits of being a glutton outweigh the risks of being fat. Proud FA rightly stated that the gluttonous lifestyle is not for everyone. Unlike other blogs, we here are Bigger Fatter Blog do not pass judgment on people who want to live a Spartan and “responsible” lifestyle so we simply ask that you do not pass judgment on us.

Proud FA and I will be writing more about this development that has shaken the fatosphere to its very foundations.
